POP mail is one of the most functional ways to work with email. When you use POP mail, you actually download your emails from our server to your computer. Your emails are then stored on your own computer, which means you can manage your emails off-line. You only need to be connected to the Internet to send and receive emails. |
 | How long does it take to get setup - when can I use my email?
| | | The registration of your domain name and setup of your account usually takes up to 48 hrs. to complete. |
 | How do I set up email accounts, mailboxes, forwarding and other features? | | | After you successfully register, you will receive a welcome email with your account id, setup instructions and admin information. Your admin info will include the URL of your admin site and your login details. As soon as you receive this information, you will be able to enter your admin panel and open new mailboxes, setup forwarding, etc...

| | | The following is the basic information you will need for setting up your local POP mail client so you can work with our POP mail: POP server: pop.yourdomain
Login: your full email address [ex: you@your-domain]
Password: your email password
SMTP server: your ISP's SMTP server.

 | What is a Mailbox? | | |
A standard email account that receives, sends and stores email. |
 | What is an Alias? | | | An alias acts as an alternate name for a mailbox. Mail sent to the alias is routed to the mailbox associated with it. |
 | What is a Catch all
Account? | | | In addition to functioning as a regular mailbox, a catch all receives messages sent to non-existent addresses in the domain. Undeliverable mail that would ordinarily be bounced back to the sender is routed to the designated catch all box. Only one mailbox per domain maybe specified as a catch all. |
 | What is Email Forwarding? | | | All emails which are sent to a mailbox are automatically forwarded to any email address which is specified in your control panel. |
